Marks of a Healthy Church: Part 1 of 9
What makes a church truly healthy? In the first message of our nine-part series, Marks of a Healthy Church, we begin with the essential foundation of Biblical Preaching. Drawing from Ezekiel's vision of the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37, we discover that while preaching faithfully declares God's Word, only God can bring genuine spiritual life. Just as the dry bones appeared whole but remained lifeless until God's breath entered them, outward religious activity cannot substitute for the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. This message challenges us to recognize that biblical preaching is more than an important church activity—it is central to our identity, guides our conduct, and fulfills our purpose of proclaiming the life-giving gospel of Jesus Christ. A healthy church is one firmly grounded in God's Word, trusting Him alone to bring the dead to life.
