'Til There's No Them... Acts 10

Mar 8, 2026    Kent Smith

In Acts 10 we witness a turning point in the story of the early church as God begins breaking down long-standing barriers between Jews and Gentiles. Through a series of divine preparations—Cornelius’ vision, Peter’s challenging vision of the sheet, and the Spirit’s guidance—God brings two very different men together for a greater purpose. Peter realizes that the gospel is not limited by culture, background, or tradition: “God does not show favoritism.” When Peter shares the message of Jesus—His life, death, and resurrection—the Holy Spirit is poured out on Gentile believers, proving that the good news truly is for everyone. This passage reminds us that God is always at work ahead of us, inviting us to join Him as He breaks boundaries and forges bonds through the power of the gospel. God keeps breaking boundaries and forging bonds

"’Til There’s No Them"—when those who were once outsiders become brothers and sisters in Christ.
